Harvard Falls To 8th On Forbes’ Top Colleges List, What’s Number 1?

If you’re entering college, you want to go to the best institution you possibly can. If this is the case, what’s the first school that comes to mind? 
More than likely, your answer is “Harvard University.” The Ivy League school is historically known as one of the greatest schools in the world.

According to Forbes, however, it is only the eigth best school in the nation.


In its list of America’s Top Colleges 2013, Forbes ranks Harvard University right behind the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York.

With the cost of a four-year undergraduate degree approaching a quarter million dollars, there’s no surprise people are doing what they can to find the best institution possible.


So what school tops the list? According to Forbes, Stanford University in California reigns supreme. Stanford was followed by another Californian school, Pomoma College.


Many other familiar names made the list, while another small college, Swarthmore College, was awarded the sixth spot.
