This Sunday on the live Eviction show, Namibia’s Sunny Boy is expected to perform on the Big Brother Africa stage. Talking about the young talented dude, he always had a dream of making good music that would touch the hearts of many as he grew up.
Sunny boy has now been in the game for almost ten years and with this time, he has managed to do four albums and he has actually created his own unique Hikwa style a mix of tight Kwaito beats with a Hip Hop flow from from genres like Kwaito and Hip Hop led. He has done killer hits like Balance, Serious, Summertime and Heat It Up among others.
The talented Namibian lad has also won awards like the NBC Music Award and Namibia Music Awards and lent his fame to greater causes, like the Namibia Red Cross Society and Special Olympics Namibia.
Sunny boy’s voice pattern, flow and rhyme delivery are compared to that of Nas who is highly praised as one of Hip Hop’s greatest poets. He also mentions South African kwaito artists, Brickz and Brown Dash as his influences.
